Napoleon Cheng

Napoleon Cheng is an experienced finance professional with a comprehensive background in accounting and reporting. Currently serving as Assistant Controller at Veracyte, Inc. since October 2015, Cheng oversees all SEC filings and provides US GAAP accounting guidance. Previously, as Head of Financial Reporting and Accounting at Sandoz Inc., guidance under IFRS was provided, and monthly close coordination was managed. At Novartis, in the role of Director of Accounting, extensive technical accounting support was offered to global offices. Earlier experiences include Associate Director of SEC Reporting at Chiron Corporation and Audit Manager at PwC. Cheng holds a CPA designation from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada, a Master of Arts in Economics from Western University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The University of British Columbia.
