Olivia Zed

Olivia Zed has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Recently, they have been working at Veracyte, Inc. since 2021, where they started as a Manager in Corporate Communications and later promoted to Senior Manager. Prior to that, Olivia spent over two years at FleishmanHillard, starting as a Junior Account Executive and advancing to Senior Account Executive. During their time there, they gained experience in different therapeutic areas including mental health, infectious diseases, neurodegenerative disorders, and dermatology. Olivia also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Boston University College of Communication from 2017 to 2018 and interned at Weber Shandwick and spark*advocacy in 2018 and 2017 respectively. In addition, they had a summer position as a Summer Student at The Ottawa Hospital in 2016, where they served as a program ambassador and led community outreach for cancer research fundraising. Olivia started their career as a Summer Fellow at Fora: Network for Change from 2012 to 2015, where they co-chaired a successful third-party fundraiser and represented G(irls)20 at The ONE Campaign's roundtable.

Olivia Zed has a Master of Science degree in Public Relations from Boston University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Development and Political Science from McGill University. In addition to their formal education, Olivia also holds a certification in Google Analytics for Beginners, which they obtained in May 2017.
