Kara Fortes

Kara Fortes, CPC, CRCR, currently serves as the RCM Manager at Veradigm® since April 2023. Prior to this role, Kara held the position of LLC Office/Billing Manager at Gaffney Physical Therapy from October 2020 to July 2022, where responsibilities included maintaining medical records, overseeing payroll and accounts payable/receivable, and managing various billing cycle functions. Additionally, Kara spent nearly two decades at PMG, Inc. in multiple roles, including Senior CSR, Retention Manager, LLC Billing Manager, and Operations Manager, focusing on revenue cycle management and stakeholder reporting. Kara holds a High School Diploma from Cranston High School East in Cranston, RI.
