Stefan Tarrant

Stefan Tarrant is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software engineering and product leadership, currently serving as the Product Lead for Fraud Detection and Management at Verafin since August 2012. Prior roles at Verafin include Team Lead for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Lead for Cloud Engineering and Operations, and Software Architect. Prior to Verafin, Stefan worked at C-CORE from April 2000 to July 2012, where responsibilities included serving as Technical Lead of the Software Team, overseeing project management, and engaging in software design and development. Earlier career experience includes a position as an Electrical Engineer at Newfoundland Power, focusing on power systems planning and substation maintenance. Stefan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical from Memorial University, earned in 1999.
