Ramasamy Kannan

Ramasamy Kannan is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in AI/ML, data science, and data analytics. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Architect at Videojet Veralto since August 2021, Ramasamy leads the design and development of end-to-end AI/ML solutions utilizing IoT big data. Prior to this role, Ramasamy held various positions, including Architect at Samsung Electronics, where the focus was on hand gesture and body action classification engines, and Software Engineer III at Cisco, contributing to IP video and audio gateway product development. Ramasamy began the career as a Senior Software Engineer at Atmel Corporation, designing capacitive touch sensing algorithms, and also gained experience as a Team Lead at Jasmin Infotech Pvt Ltd, developing audio and video enhancement algorithms. Ramasamy holds an M.S. in Multimedia from Kiel University and a B.E. in Electronics and Communication from SRM IST Chennai.
