Rahul Sharma began their career in 2009 as a volunteer at Helping Hands. In 2016, they became a Software Engineer at LG Soft India, where they evaluated and implemented operator's requirements, and performed bug fixing and patch verification for GPS and LTE (NAS/RRC) technology. In 2018, they joined Vanu, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer Research Development, where they designed and developed LTE RAN (NAS, RRC, RLC layer) protocol stack and EPC, as well as HNBGW(3G). In 2021, they moved to Verana Networks as a Senior Software Engineer, where they have been working for 5G-NR CU feature development using C, and has hands on experience on RRC-RRM, F1AP and NG interface, as well as issue analysis and resolution.
Rahul Sharma completed their Engineer's Degree in Electronics and Instrumentation from Samrat Ashok Technological Institute from 2009 to 2013. Rahul then went on to pursue a Post Graduate Diploma in Embedded Systems and Design from C-DAC, Bangalore from 2015 to 2016. In 2020, they obtained a Problem Solving (Basic) Certificate from HackerRank in November and a C++ (Basic) Certificate from HackerRank in September.
