Andres Guillermo Weffer Conde has a wealth of experience in the field of electrical engineering. Andres Guillermo has worked in various positions such as O&M Manager at Verano Energy, Supervisor de Implementación at Metro de Santiago S.A., Jefe de producción at TRANSFORMADORES CH S.A., and Gerente de obra at Inversiones y construcciones Chima. Additionally, Andres Guillermo has also served as a Profesor universitario a tiempo parcial at Universidad de Carabobo and Director de ingeniería at IVEC Carabobo. Andres Guillermo holds a degree in Ingeniero Electricista Mension Potencia y Sistemas Automaticos from Universidad de Carabobo and a degree in Ingeniero Civil Eléctrico from Universidad de Chile.

Verano Energy was founded in 2012 to address the need of early stage investment and development of renewable energy projects in Latin America. Verano’s International team, advisory board, and affiliated companies, combine to create an interdisciplinary team with deep experience in all aspects of renewable energy projects from design, to financing, to construction, to asset management. Verano’s current focus is the Latin American market, particularly in Chile and Argentina.
