Awais Shehzad

Awais Shehzad is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in enterprise applications and SAP solutions. Currently serving as Vice President of IT Applications at Verano since March 2024, Awais provides strategic leadership focused on optimizing SAP applications and integrating AI technologies. Previously, Awais held the position of Director of IT - Enterprise Applications at Cleveland-Cliffs from December 2019 to March 2024, managing SAP solutions including S/4 HANA. Awais's career also includes significant roles at ArcelorMittal USA and Bunge Loders Croklaan, where responsibilities encompassed leading SAP implementations and managing integrated systems. Awais holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Windsor, a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Government College University, Lahore, and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Punjab.
