Amy Blackwood started their work experience in 2012 at ALS as a Lab Analyst and Training Officer, where they worked as a QC Analyst in a contract pharmaceutical company. In this role, they also oversaw the training of apprentices and new staff members. Amy then worked as a Science Teacher at Teach First from June 2016 to September 2018, and also at Ken Stimpson Community School from September 2016 to September 2018. After that, they worked as an SEN Science and Maths Teacher at OnTrack Education from September 2018 to July 2019. Amy Blackwood then joined Johnson Matthey in July 2019 as an Analytical Scientist. Their most recent work experience is as a Scientist at Veranova since June 2022.
Amy Blackwood attended the University of Reading from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biomedical Sciences, with a focus on the general field of study.
