Vicky Johnstone

Vicky Johnstone is a seasoned professional in quality control and analytical chemistry with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as QC Manager and previously as QC Supervisor at Veranova since June 2022, Vicky has played a critical role in API analysis and lab compliance. Prior to this, Vicky held positions at Johnson Matthey from July 2016 to June 2022 as Quality Control Supervisor and QC Lead Analyst. Vicky's expertise also includes serving as Analytical Project Coordinator and Chromatography Specialist at Shasun Pharma Solutions from September 2007 to July 2016, where analytical techniques such as mass spectrometry, NMR, and XRD were employed, alongside equipment validation and method qualification. Earlier experience includes working as a Medicinal Chemist at GlaxoSmithKline from September 2003 to September 2007, focusing on small molecule design and synthesis against specific biological targets. Vicky holds an MSci in Chemistry from the University of Glasgow, obtained in 2003.
