Omer Hayat, PMP® , PSM™ I

Omer Hayat has a diverse work experience in the field of software quality assurance and project management. Omer is currently working at Veraqor as the Lead Consultant, where they have been since January 2022. Prior to this, Omer held the position of Senior Consultant at Veraqor from March 2020 to December 2021.

Before joining Veraqor, Omer worked at NorthBay Solutions starting in 2015. Omer held the role of Associate Manager and Staff QA Engineer from February 2019 to March 2020, and prior to that, they were the Principal Software QA Engineer from April 2015 to January 2019.

Omer also gained valuable experience at Vopium, where they served as the Principal Software Quality Assurance Engineer from January 2015 to March 2015. Omer was responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions for mobile devices, web browsers, and desktops.

Prior to Vopium, Omer worked at trg | tech as a Software Engineer in QA from June 2009 to August 2011. Their main responsibilities included writing and updating test cases for a customer management system and executing test cases for a CMS.

Omer's career began at Cambridge Docs, where they worked as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer from April 2008 to June 2009. Omer was involved in writing and updating test cases for a web messenger service and executing test cases for the same service.

Before Cambridge Docs, Omer worked at Confiz Solutions as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer from August 2007 to March 2008. Their responsibilities included communication with American clients regarding project requirements and testing and validation of a web project.

Overall, Omer Hayat has gained extensive experience in software quality assurance and project management through their various roles and responsibilities in different organizations.

Omer Hayat, PMP®, PSM™ I, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences. Omer completed their undergraduate studies from 2003 to 2007. In addition, they have obtained the certifications of Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) from Scrum.org in September 2021 and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in December 2019.
