Matthew Pryl, P.Eng, is a highly experienced mechanical engineer with a robust background in the design and manufacturing of medical devices and consumer electronics. Currently serving as Principal Mechanical Engineer at Verathon since February 2013, Matthew has been instrumental in developing high reliability and performance medical products, ensuring compliance with multiple industry standards. Previous roles include Mechanical Design Engineer at Tantalus, Manufacturing Engineer at Ballard Power Systems, and R&D Mechanical Design Engineer at Nokia, where Matthew contributed to various projects from initial conceptualization to mass production. Matthew holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria and a diploma in Plastics Technologies from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
