Kavya S.

Kavya S. has a diverse work experience in the field of biotechnology and scientific research. Kavya is currently working as a Process Scientist at VERAVAS, Inc. since February 2023.

Prior to this, Kavya held the role of Chief Research Scientist at WinGene Biosciences from June 2020 to December 2022. In this role, they developed various assays for Hapten detection and lower sensitivity range testing in saliva, overseeing the entire product development process.

From November 2017 to June 2020, Kavya worked as a Research Scientist at Bonvida LLC.

Before that, they gained experience at Beckman Coulter as a Scientist in both Manufacturing Operations and Process Development roles. From August 2013 to May 2014, they focused on operations and quality control in the area of immunology, including assay validation, reagent development, and antibody purification. From December 2011 to July 2013, they worked on process development, improvement, and antibody conjugation.

Kavya also worked as a Project Associate at the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP), NCBS from January 2011 to November 2011, where they contributed to various projects.

Kavya S. pursued their pre-university education at Vijaya Composite Pre University College from 2005 to 2007. Kavya then went on to enroll in Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Biotechnology.
