Heather O'Shea

Heather O'Shea has a strong background in the field of behavioral therapy, primarily specializing in autism services. Heather started their career as the Chief Clinical Officer at ACES (Comprehensive Educational Services, Inc.) in September 2004, where they played a key role in overseeing clinical operations. In September 2020, Heather became the President of Verbal Behavior Associates, where they continue to contribute their expertise in driving the organization's growth and success. With over 16 years of experience in leadership positions, Heather has consistently demonstrated their dedication to providing high-quality educational services and support to individuals with autism and their families.

Heather O'Shea began their education in 1993 at UC San Diego, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 1996. Heather then pursued further education at the California School of Professional Psychology, where they obtained a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from 1996 to 2004. In addition to their degrees, Heather O'Shea obtained a certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) in December 2005.
