Lauren Salazar

Lauren Salazar is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial accounting and reporting. Currently serving as Controller at Verdad Resources since April 2017, Lauren previously held the position of Financial Reporting Group Lead at Vine Oil & Gas, LP, where responsibilities included managing financial accounting teams, compliance with accounting principles, and leading external audits. Prior roles at MRI Companies as Accounting Manager and in earlier positions as Senior and Staff Accountant illustrated a solid foundation in financial management. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Economics from Texas Tech University, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and has successfully led teams through significant corporate transitions, including acquisitions and divestitures.
