Shizhao Su

Shizhao Su has a diverse work experience in various scientific and educational roles. They began their career as a Research Assistant at Peking University in 2008 and worked until 2011. Following this, Shizhao Su worked as a Research Engineer at Tianjin Xiyuan Chemical Plant from 2009 to 2011. They then transitioned to being an English Teacher at New Oriental Education & Technology Group from January 2011 to August 2011. In 2012, Shizhao Su joined Boston University as a Graduate Research Fellow and also served as a Lab Safety Coordinator from 2014 to 2016. They continued their scientific career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Santa Barbara from 2016 to 2018. Shizhao Su then joined Chemetry as an Electrochemical Scientist in 2019, and from May 2023, they will be working as a Senior Scientist at Verdagy.

Shizhao Su received their Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Chemistry from Peking University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Shizhao then pursued higher education and attended Boston University from 2011 to 2016, ultimately earning their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Materials Engineering.
