Dan Smith

Dan Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Dan is currently serving as the Vice President at Verdant Commercial Capital since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at PNC as a Sr. Vice President and Regional Manager from February 2014 to May 2022. Dan also served as a District Sales Manager at The Toro Company from February 2006 to February 2014. Before that, they were a Territory Manager at Smith Turf & Irrigation from November 2001 to February 2006. Additionally, they worked at Professional Turf Products, LP as a Sales Representative for Commercial Equipment & Golf Irrigation from July 1996 to August 2000. Dan's early career began at Pebble Creek Country Club, where they held multiple positions, including Spray Technician, Assistant Golf Course Superintendent, and Golf Course Superintendent from June 1992 to April 1996.

Dan Smith attended Texas A&M University from 1990 to 1994, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy with a focus on Turfgrass Management.
