Michael Wilmot

Michael Wilmot has an extensive work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Michael is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Verdant Leisure Limited since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Chairman at TYNE THEATRE AND OPERA HOUSE PRESERVATION TRUST from October 2019 onwards and served as Treasurer of the same organization from March 2015 to October 2019.

From August 2018 to December 2021, Michael worked as the Chief Financial Officer at NCG. Before that, they had a significant tenure at Parkdean Resorts, where they served as the Director of Finance from November 2015 to July 2018. Michael also held the roles of Finance Director, Group Financial Controller, and Internal Auditor at Parkdean Resorts from 2002 to 2015.

Michael began their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in September 1997 as a Business Assurance Manager, where they worked until September 2002.

Michael Wilmot attended St Cuthbert's RC High School from 1987 to 1992. Michael then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics at Durham University, where they graduated with First Class Honours in 1997.
