Dan Barr

Dan Barr is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in the water sector. Currently serving as Senior Project Manager at Verdantas since January 2025, Dan leads water and wastewater projects and conducts pressure network modeling and transient analysis nationwide. As the Community Engineering Corps Coordinator for Ohio at the American Water Works Association since June 2016, Dan recruits and manages volunteers for infrastructure projects in underserved communities. Dan also chairs both the Air Valve Committee and the Fire Protection Committee, contributing to the development of industry standards and training. Previously, Dan held various leadership positions at CT Consultants, ms consultants, inc., and Burgess & Niple, overseeing teams, managing projects, and enhancing water distribution systems. Dan's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
