Shannon Sherwood, PMP has over 25 years of experience in the education and training industry. From 1992 to 1998, they worked as a Bilingual/ESL Teacher in Irving, Carrollton-Farmer's Branch, and Round Rock ISDs. From 1998 to 2002, they were a Bilingual/ESL Specialist at Education Service Center Region 13. From 2002 to 2009, they were a Technology Group at McGraw Hill Education, and a Consultant at National Geographic School Publishing. From 2009 to 2011, they were a Health Education Coordinator at HealthTeacher.com. From 2011 to 2012, they were an Implementation Consultant and Curriculum & Implementation Manager at Achieve3000. From 2013 to 2017, they were a Training Specialist at Edlio, Inc. and a User Adoption Manager, Training Lead, and Training Specialist at Verdtek. Additionally, since 2003, they have been the Owner of Sherwood Learning Resources, LLC, providing customized staff development and support to educators.

Shannon Sherwood, PMP has a diverse educational background. In 2010, they completed a Project Management course at The University of Texas at Austin. Shannon holds a Master's degree in Bilingual/Bicultural Education from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Stephen F. Austin State University. Shannon has also obtained certifications from various institutions, such as LinkedIn, Microsoft, Dale Carnegie Training, and the Project Management Institute. Her most recent certification is the TechSmith Camtasia 2022 Voyager, obtained in January 2023. Shannon also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, which they have renewed in 2021, 2018, and 2012.
