Lourdes Elizabeth Luviano has extensive experience in fitness and behavioral therapy, currently serving as a Personal Trainer at Specialized Fitness Solutions since March 2015, focusing on providing fitness access to the special needs community. Simultaneously, Luviano has been a Behavior Therapist at Verdugo Hills Autism Project since January 2015. Previous roles include Team Leader at Girls Inc. of Greater Santa Barbara, overseeing up to 100 girls in a summer program, a Public Policy Intern at Girls Inc., and various positions at UCSB Recreational Sports, including Student Athletic Trainer and Athletic Training Marketing & Publicity Coordinator. Luviano began academic pursuits at UC Santa Barbara, earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2014.

Verdugo Hills Autism Project (VHAP) is a group of professionals devoted to providing comprehensive treatment to children, adolescents, adults and their families. Our team subscribes to methodologies that facilitate our clients’ skill development to help them engage in school, secure work and have close relationships. We are committed to see that each child develops a sense of self-worth and to value their relationships with the significant people in their lives. Our team collaborates with parents to help them feel empowered and competent in guiding their child’s development. It is our goal to make measurable positive changes in the lives of our clients.
