Pieter van Breugel

Pieter van Breugel has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Pieter started their career in 1991 as a Sales Engineer at Draeger and later joined NMi, where they held various positions including Sales Engineer, Manager Marketing & Sales, and Director. At NMi, they played a key role in transforming the company from a governmental agency to a commercial institute. In 2011, they became a Partner at CFocus BV, a consulting company specializing in Project and Management Consulting. In 2013, they joined Kiwa as the Managing Director of Kiwa ExVision BV, a start-up test and certification center for Explosion Safety. Pieter successfully established and managed the ATEX/IECEx laboratory. Pieter van Breugel then became the Owner of Global Focus Holding in 2011. Most recently, in March 2019, they assumed the role of Managing Director at Verebus Engineering B.V.

Pieter van Breugel earned a Master of Science degree in Physics from Utrecht University, completing their studies from 1984 to 1990. Pieter later pursued studies in Management, Culture change, Marketing, and Sales at de Baak from 1996 to 2007. Prior to this, they attended Develsteincollege Zwijndrecht from 1977 to 1984 to complete their VWO.
