Steven L Smith has extensive experience in asset management and corporate real estate, currently serving as Asset Manager for American Realty Capital Properties since March 2013, overseeing a diverse portfolio of office and industrial assets across the United States. Prior to this role, Steven held the position of Managing Director at SLS Advisory and spent nearly two decades at Grubb & Ellis, where responsibilities included managing large-scale corporate real estate solutions and overseeing significant property transitions. Steven's earlier experience includes senior property management roles at Cushman & Wakefield and Bankers Life & Casualty Insurance Company, focusing on property performance improvement and divestiture of substantial real estate portfolios. Steven holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering/Construction Management from Bradley University and an Associate of Science in Construction Technology from Manatee Junior College.
