Jean-Michel Gorand has held various IT leadership roles throughout their career. Jean-Michel started as an IT Designer at BNP Paribas in 1990 and worked their way up to become an IT Project Manager and then an IT Sales & Marketing Domain Manager. From 1997 to 1999, they served as the IT Human Resources Domain Manager at BNP Paribas. In 1999, they joined GlaxoSmithKline, where they held several roles, including IT Domain Manager for Sales & Marketing. Jean-Michel also served as the France Commercial IT Director and the Europe IT PMO Director. In 2008, they became the IT Director Worldwide at Linpac Allibert, where they were responsible for defining and implementing the IT strategy agenda. From 2010 to 2016, they served as the Chief Information Officer at SGD. Currently, they are the Chief Information Officer at VERESCENCE since 2017.

Jean-Michel Gorand pursued their education at the Université de Caen Normandie from 1984 to 1989, where they obtained a Master's degree in Economics. In 1989, they furthered their studies at CIDES / Centre Interfonction Diplomes Enseignement Superieur, focusing on Information Technology / CIDES, for a duration of one year.
