Stefan Waelti

Stefan Waelti has a diverse and extensive work experience. Stefan is currently the CEO of VERFORA Group, which includes Verfora AG, Spagyros AG, and Dr. A.&L. Schmidgall GmbH. Under their leadership, VERFORA has achieved significant growth through organic growth and mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, Stefan has held the position of Head of Marketing & Business Development and Head of Strategic Planning & Business Services at VERFORA.

In addition to their role at VERFORA, Stefan is a Member of the Board of ASSGP Switzerland and the CEO of Spagyros AG.

Before joining VERFORA and ASSGP, Stefan worked at Vifor Pharma (Galenica Group) as the Head of Marketing Consumer Health. Stefan was a member of the executive board and led marketing and business development teams. Stefan also held roles in therapeutic areas management and business development and licensing.

Prior to their time at Vifor Pharma, Stefan worked at Valora Group as a Project Manager in various roles, including retail innovations, business development, and human resources. Stefan began their career as a Consultant at MLP Private Finance.

Stefan Waelti pursued their education at the University of Bern from 1995 to 2000, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Chemistry.
