Since October 2002, Les Hildenbrandt has worked at Technology Driven Products as a firmware engineer, creating firmware primarily in C for various Microchip microcontrollers. Additionally, Les Hildenbrandt has held a project engineer position at Vergent Products since 2002. Prior experience includes significant roles at Colorado Time Systems, from 1987 to 2002, focusing on electrical design, PCB layout, and firmware development for sports timing and scoreboard displays, including the creation of the scalable "Myriad" display system. Early career experience includes serving as an avionics technician at Air Radio from 1984 to 1987.
