Samir Badia

Samir Badia has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Samir started their career at Nortel in 2000, working as a GSM/UMTS Test and Verification engineer. Samir then became a Deployment Leader, managing the integration of new network nodes. After that, they took on the role of QA Manager, responsible for end-to-end lab research and test case execution.

In 2009, Samir joined Polaris Wireless as a Senior Program Manager and later transitioned to become a Technical Project Manager. Samir also served as a System Integration/Customer Support Manager, managing support for location-based services operations in major carriers.

Starting in 2015, Samir worked at Sentient Energy as a Senior Product/Program Manager in IoT/M2M/Cellular, overseeing product management for Internet of Things solutions. Samir then became the Director of Product Management for IoT, responsible for the IoT platform.

In 2022, Samir joined VergeSense as the Sr Director of Product Management for IoT and Connected Devices.

Overall, Samir has a strong background in product management, IoT, and technology operations, with experience in leading teams and collaborating with customers to meet their requirements.

Samir Badia earned a Cum Laude Master of Science degree from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2000. Prior to that, they obtained a Cum Laude Master of Business Administration degree from Western International University in 1994.
