Jente Somers

Jente Somers is a skilled professional with a strong background in innovation and engineering. Currently serving as Manager of Innovation Acceleration at Verhaert Digital Innovation since September 2022, Jente previously gained experience as a volunteer at Chirojeugd-Vlaanderen vzw from September 2016 to August 2022, and completed a student internship at Verhaert Digital Innovation from February to June 2022. Jente also worked at Punch Powertrain as a Master Thesis Student from November 2019 to July 2020. Academically, Jente holds a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from KU Leuven (2020-2022) and a Master of Engineering in Electromechanical Engineering from the same institution (2016-2020), complemented by a secondary education in Science & Mathematics from Sint-Jans College Meldert (2010-2016).
