James Son

James Son has a diverse work experience in corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, and investment banking. James worked as a Vice President of Corporate Development at Vericast since 2016. Prior to that, they held the role of Director of Mergers & Acquisitions at Spectrum (formerly Time Warner Cable) from 2011 to 2016, where they successfully managed various high-value transactions. Before joining Spectrum, James worked as a Summer MBA Intern in Corporate Development at American Express in 2010. James also served as a Corporate Development Manager at WPP from 2006 to 2009, and as an Investment Banking Analyst at Stifel Financial Corp. (formerly Thomas Weisel Partners) from 2004 to 2006. James began their career as a Fixed Income Analyst at Citi, specializing in the Global Technology, Media, and Communications Group, from 2002 to 2004.

James Son received their Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Technology Management from Georgetown University between 1998 and 2002. James then pursued an MBA degree in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School from 2009 to 2011.
