Quality Systems Lead at Vericel

Lauren Giroux has a diverse work experience in quality systems, documentation, tutoring, and editorial roles. Lauren started their career at the Lowell Sun as an Editorial Intern, where they reported and wrote news stories. Lauren then worked at AMRI as a Quality Assurance Intern, archiving and maintaining documents and providing support during audits. Lauren also interned at Quayside Publishing Group as an Editorial Intern, where they copyedited manuscripts and wrote book summaries. Lauren worked at Endicott College as a Writing Tutor, assisting students with their writing skills. Lauren joined Genzyme as a Documentation Specialist, and later joined Vericel® Corporation as a Quality Systems Engineer, progressing to the role of Quality Systems Lead. In these roles, they oversaw and facilitated programs, conducted risk assessments, developed training content, and coordinated inspections.

Lauren Giroux obtained a Bachelor's degree in English, Creative Writing, and Communication from Endicott College from 2008 to 2012. Lauren also attended Florence University of the Arts in 2011. Prior to college, they graduated from Tyngsboro High School in 2008. In 2019, Lauren obtained certifications as an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer and a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) from ASQ - World Headquarters. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2016.
