Josu Gorostegui Colinas has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and product management.

Josu began their career at Volkswagen Navarra as a Software Engineering Intern in January 2014, gaining valuable practical experience in the automotive industry before transitioning to their role at Vicomtech-IK4 in July 2014.

At Vicomtech-IK4, they served as a Research Assistant and Software Engineer, managing projects and conducting comprehensive analyses of project needs. Josu was responsible for fulfilling and controlling laboratory hardware and software requirements, as well as developing an end-to-end solution for broadcasters and producers in the HDR workflow.

In 2018, Josu joined Veridas as an Artificial Intelligence & Software Engineer. Josu worked in this role until March 2022, where they focused on the development of AI-driven face and voice authentication solutions. In April 2023, they transitioned to the role of a Product Manager, where they oversaw the lifecycle of these solutions, ensuring alignment with market interests and company strategy. Josu collaborated with different teams, such as Core Technologies and Software Development, to reach development objectives, updated technical documentation, and provided technical support to the Business Development team for complex sales processes.

Josu Gorostegui Colinas holds a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Navarra.
