Gowri Jayaram

Gowri Jayaram, PhD, currently serves as SVP of AI Automation & Commercial Strategy at Veridix, part of Emmes Group, since October 2024. As a founding member of Chief since October 2019, Gowri contributes to a network aimed at advancing women into leadership roles. Previously, responsibilities included leading Medidata AI Solutions as Head and holding positions such as Vice President of Medidata AI Labs and Senior Director. Past experience encompasses roles at Oscar Health, McKinsey & Company, Exponent Failure Analysis Associates, and a post-doctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. Education includes an MBA from The Wharton School, a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and a BS and MS in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University, along with a time as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Oxford.
