Paul Sumon

Paul Sumon is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in storage infrastructure management and deployment across various sectors. Currently serving as the Global Storage Infrastructure Manager at Verifone since January 2013, Paul oversees fintech payment transaction platforms utilizing technologies such as DellEMC PMAX/VMAX and HPE Arrays. Previously, as Storage Infrastructure Lead at Acenden Limited, Paul managed VMware and Windows server estates and played a key role in the deployment of virtual desktop infrastructure. Experience includes roles at Thomson Reuters, Vodafone, ALSTOM T&D Distribution Transformers Limited, and Atkins, highlighting strengths in server implementation, IT architecture, and software development. Paul holds an MSc in Technical Change and Industrial Strategy and a BSc in Physics from The University of Manchester.
