Benny Tan

Benny Tan is a highly experienced software engineer and entrepreneur with a diverse background in mobile app development and technology education. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Verify since May 2023, Benny also leads as the Founder and Lead Mobile Development Instructor at Queens Tech Academy, dedicated to providing affordable tech education for full-time workers and students. As the Founder and Lead Software Engineer at Squarevibe Inc., Benny has contributed to the success of an NYC-based mobile app development firm recognized at Apple's WWDC. Previous roles include Principal of Software Engineering at Slalom, where a micro frontend web application was co-developed, Full Stack Software Engineer positions at DIDiT Inc., Appetizer Mobile LLC, and Busy, and a Cloud Developer role at Maureen Data Systems. Benny holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a Computer Science minor from The City College of New York.
