Rakesh Chandru

Rakesh Chandru is an Engineering Manager with extensive experience in managing cross-functional, distributed engineering teams across various organizations. Currently at Verimi since May 2023, Rakesh oversees a group of over 30 engineers focusing on frontend, backend, and mobile development, while handling responsibilities such as people development, release management, and stakeholder communication. Prior experience includes managing architecture and platform teams at ABB E-mobility, leading web development projects at Diebold Nixdorf, and contributing to software development at Groupon, DILAX Intelcom, Fraunhofer FOKUS, Robert Bosch GmbH, and HCL Technologies. Rakesh holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from Fachhochschule Kiel and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
