Jacynta Smith

Jacynta Smith is currently a Member Experience Associate at Veris Insights. Prior to this, they were an intern at the City of Durham in the Equity & Inclusion Department. There, they collaborated with multiple departments to advance Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts. Jacynta researched strategies to improve Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within the Durham Community and created and implemented new talking points regarding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Jacynta was also a research assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where they researched social movements and their impact. Additionally, they were a district representative for the Mandate Democracy Foundation, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization to protect democracy and empower the electoral voice. Jacynta has also held positions as an Administrative Assistant at the Carolina Humanities Department and a Group Fitness Instructor at UNC Campus Recreation.

Jacynta Smith reports to Donna Hay-Jones, VP, Market Impact. They are on a team with Sarah Partin Martinez - Member Experience Manager, Hunter Johnson - Marketing Associate, and Hannah Moore - Director of Experienced Recruiting Member Experience.
