Jeannie McPherson

Senior Director, Content Marketing at Verisign

Jeannie McPherson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jeannie began their career as a Public Programming Specialist at Audubon Louisiana Nature Center in 1999. Jeannie later worked as an Outreach Director at the Northern Virginia Conservation Trust from 2002 to 2003. From 2003 to 2006, they served as a Communications Manager at the National Trust for Historic Preservation, where they managed media relations and implemented strategic communications plans. Following this, they joined AOL as a Senior Program Manager from 2006 to 2008, leading messaging efforts and driving sales through member marketing and communications. Jeannie then moved on to TANDBERG (now Cisco) as a Senior Marketing Manager, leading global public relations and social media programs from 2008 to 2010. Their most recent experience is at Verisign, where they held various roles including Senior Director of Content Marketing, Director of Product Management, and Senior Manager of Corporate Communications, focusing on content marketing, public relations, social media, and driving product innovation and adoption.

Jeannie McPherson holds a Master's degree in Communication from George Mason University and a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Loyola University New Orleans.
