Leonidas Poulopoulos

Principal Engineer at Verisign

Leonidas Poulopoulos began their work experience in 2007 as an Electrical Engineer at RACTI, where they worked until 2008. Leonidas then joined GRNET in 2009 as a Web/Network Applications Developer, a position they held until 2014. In 2015, Poulopoulos joined Verisign as an Engineer III - Network Automation, and eventually progressed to Engineer IV - Network Automation and Visualization in 2016. From 2019 to 2023, they served as Senior Engineer - Network Automation and Visualization at Verisign, and currently holds the role of Principal Engineer. Throughout their career, Poulopoulos has been involved in the development of network monitoring, automation, and visualization tools, including the implementation of TSDBs, graphing frameworks, and event-driven infrastructure orchestration.

Leonidas Poulopoulos obtained a Diplomate in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Patras, where they studied from 1998 to 2004. Leonidas then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same university, attending from 2007 to 2010.
