Shabbar Raza

Shabbar Raza is an experienced professional in application security and IT, currently serving as the Sr. Manager of Application Security at VERISIGN since July 2019. Prior roles include Engineer IV at VERISIGN, Senior Security Engineer at GDIT / SoftWorld, and positions at Cambridge Associates, where responsibilities ranged from Security and Compliance to Team Lead Web. Shabbar began a career in technology in 1994, gaining diverse experience in systems administration, programming, and web development across various companies, including Stanley Associates, AETEA Information Technology, and ADP. Educational qualifications include a degree in Computer Science from Prince George’s Community College and advanced placement courses completed at Eleanor Roosevelt High School.
