Jo Varshney

Jo Varshney is the founder and CEO of VeriSIM Life. Prior to VeriSIM Life, Jo was with PulmoSIM Therapeutics, Village Global, and SVAI. Jo's most recent position before founding VeriSIM Life was as a postdoctoral fellow at UCSF Medical Center. Prior to that, Jo was a visiting research scientist at Genentech where they developed a passion project to understand the mechanisms of toxicities induced by antibody drug conjugates (ADCs). Jo has also been a postdoctoral researcher at the Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota and a PHD (Comparative Medicine, Genetics) and M.S. Scholar (Pathobiology) at Penn State University.

Dr. Jo Varshney earned their Doctor of Philosophy in Comparative Oncology/Genomics from the University of Minnesota. Jo followed that up with a Master's Degree in Translational Pathobiology & Bioinformatics (Microbiome) from Penn State University. Finally, they became a DVM after completing their Veterinary Medicine studies at the College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry.
