Charles Jackson currently serves as Assistant Vice President and Director of Atmospheric Perils Modeling at Verisk since September 2021. Prior to this role, Charles held positions as Research Associate Professor and Research Scientist at The University of Texas at Austin from September 2000 to October 2021. Charles also worked as a Visiting Scholar at Princeton University from January 1998 to August 2000, during which time Charles contributed to projects at NOAA/Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory. Charles earned a PhD in Geophysical Science from the University of Chicago in 1998 and a B.S. in Physics from Haverford College in 1992.
