Shikha Bordia

Shikha Bordia is an experienced NLP Research Engineer at Verisk since August 2019, specializing in multi-hop Natural Language Inference, transfer learning, representation learning, and active learning. Simultaneously, Shikha serves as a grader for Natural Language Understanding and Computational Semantics at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences and conducts research in Natural Language Processing at the NYU Center for Data Science. Previous roles include data science consultant for various clients at Data Science and Analytics and business intelligence lead at industrybuying, where Shikha played a crucial role in the company's rapid growth and infrastructure development. Shikha also has a background in financial analysis from Deutsche Bank and valuable internship experiences at Larsen & Toubro Limited and ISJ Securities Pvt. Ltd. Shikha holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from New York University and a B.Tech (Hons.) in Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
