Ian Wright is a data engineer currently working at Verisk Maplecroft since February 2022. Prior to this, Ian held positions such as Principal Scientific Software Engineer at Big Data Institute, Solutions Architect at Wellcome Sanger Institute, and Principal Scientific Software Engineer and Senior Web Developer at Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics, University of Oxford. With a background in Computer Science from the University of Bristol, Ian has also worked as a Technical Architect at Elsevier and as a Software Engineer at OUP.
