Kaho Yu, PhD is currently the Head of Energy and Resources Research at Verisk Maplecroft, specializing in providing data-led analysis of geopolitical, regulatory, and ESG risks in the APAC region. With a background in international relations and Chinese energy security, Kaho has held various research and teaching positions at institutions such as King's College London, Harvard Kennedy School, and Hong Kong Baptist University. Kaho is a thought leader in global trends driven by energy security and climate change, and has conducted extensive research on topics such as energy cooperation in the 'Belt and Road Initiative'.
