Flavio Beraldo

Flavio Beraldo, M.Sc, Ph.D. PMP has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Their most recent role was as a Project Director at Veristat since October 2023, where they provided oversight for the management and delivery of complex clinical trial programs. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Clinical Project Manager at the same company from July 2021 to September 2023, where they managed multiple high-profile projects and controlled project budgets.

Before joining Veristat, Flavio worked at Innovaderm Research Inc. as a Clinical Project Manager from March 2021 to July 2021, where they ensured that assigned studies were audit-ready and served as the primary contact for the sponsor, vendors, and internal teams.

From October 2020 to March 2021, Flavio held the position of Senior Project Manager at KGK Science Inc., where they led the Clinical Project Management team and oversaw the tracking and execution of timelines, milestones, and project deadlines. Flavio also acted as the primary client liaison and reviewed project budgets and parameters to ensure adequate resources were available.

Prior to that, Flavio worked as an Adjunct Professor in Physiology and Pharmacology at Western University from November 2016 to January 2020. Flavio also held the position of Project Manager/Research Associate at Robarts Research Institute from February 2009 to January 2020, where they managed and coordinated projects in partnership with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies and implemented quality control checkpoints to validate data consistency and reproducibility.

Flavio's career began at LUDWIG INSTITUTE FOR CANCER RESEARCH LTD, where they worked as a Project Coordinator/Postdoctoral Researcher from April 2005 to February 2009. In this role, they assisted the project manager in project delivery, prepared project reports, and allocated and monitored project resources.

Flavio Beraldo, M.Sc, Ph.D, PMP has a diverse education history. Flavio obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from USP - Universidade de São Paulo in 1998. Flavio then pursued a Master's degree in Cell Physiology from the same institution, completing it in 2001. Following that, they went on to obtain a Ph.D. in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from USP - Universidade de São Paulo in 2005.

Continuing their academic journey, Flavio pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences, General from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences - University of Sao Paulo, completing it in 2005.

In terms of their project management expertise, Flavio attained a Certificate in Project Management, Honours from Fanshawe College in 2014.

To further broaden their knowledge and skills, they acquired additional certifications such as Business Analysis Foundations from Instructing.com and the Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2020 and 2022 respectively.

Currently, Flavio is pursuing a Professional Certificate in Leadership from Western University, which they expect to complete in 2023.
