Edward Chiang

Edward Chiang currently serves as President and CEO of Verita, Inc., where a focus on industry specialization aims to address the challenges of the evolving insurance risk environment. Prior experience includes roles as EVP GRS Chief Actuary and Finance Officer at Sompo International, overseeing actuarial pricing and finance, and as VP Underwriting at QBE North America, where a profitable book of $100 million in premiums was achieved. Edward also held the position of Pricing Actuary at ACE Group, leading a team in risk evaluation, and worked as an Actuarial Consultant at Ernst & Young, specializing in modeling for property and casualty insurers. Edward holds a BMath in Actuarial Science from the University of Waterloo.
