Sivaraman Mahadevan

Sivaraman Mahadevan has extensive work experience spanning several industries. Sivaraman began their career as a Junior Executive at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited in 1977. Sivaraman then joined United India Insurance Co. Ltd in 1978 and held multiple positions, including Company Secretary, over a period of 27 years. During this time, they were responsible for conducting board meetings, annual general body meetings, and bonus issue of shares. Sivaraman also received appreciation for their effective drafting of minutes and conveying decisions promptly. In 2005, they became the Region Head/Deputy General Manager of the Kerala Region, where they achieved significant growth. From 2007 to 2012, they served as the Managing Director of GIC Housing Finance Ltd, overseeing business operations, marketing, credit, and recovery. In 2015, they joined Veritas Finance Private Limited, an organization assisting the MSME sector. Most recently, in 2017, they became an Independent Director at National Insurance Company Ltd.

Sivaraman Mahadevan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounts and Auditing from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India between 1972 and 1976. Sivaraman later pursued further education in Company Law and Secretarial Practice, completing their ACS degree from The Institute of Company Secreties of India between 1979 and 1982.
