Ryan Durigan has a varied work experience. Ryan began their career in 2013 as a Student Researcher at Tufts University Biomedical Engineering Department, where they developed and ran a study on the effect of hyaluronic acid on the formation of scar tissue in cardiac valve cells, created a LabView VI to display real-time pressure-volume loop from a catheterized rat, designed, built, and tested a UV light box for acrylamide cross-linking to create cell scaffolds made of Polyacrylamide gel to a desired stiffness, and researched the effects of scaffold stiffness and extracellular matrix composition on the growth and health of cardiac fibroblasts in vitro. In 2014, Ryan Durigan became a Project Leader at Engineers Without Borders. In 2016, they took on the role of Electronics/ Guest Service Team Member at Target. From 2017 to 2021, they were an Operations Project Manager II at Veritas Genetics and then a Director of Operations - Genetics and Project Manager at LetsGetChecked.

Ryan Durigan attended Cranston High School West from 2008 to 2012. Ryan then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at Tufts University, which they completed in 2016.
