Thomas D. Scavelli

Dr. Scavelli graduated from The New York State College of Veterinary Medicine, Cornell University and has been a pioneer in veterinary medicine during his 40 year career. He founded Garden State Veterinary Specialists (GSVS), a network of emergency and specialty care hospitals across New York and New Jersey.

He is a Diplomate of The American College of Veterinary Surgeons and has lectured nationally and internationally. In addition, Dr. Scavelli has authored multiple publications, including textbook chapters and journal articles centered around small animal surgery. Dr. Scavelli is innately passionate about caring for animals and creating opportunity through Veritas.
