James Everton

James Everton has a diverse work experience in software engineering, starting with their current role as a Principal Software Engineer at Veritas Technologies LLC since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Oracle from 2011 to 2021, where they held positions as a Principal Software Developer and Senior Software Developer. At Oracle, they contributed to projects involving Java-based server-side software, micro-service deployment, and incorporating new storage products into the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Before their time at Oracle, James served as a Software Engineer at Pillar Data Systems from 2009 to 2011, where they developed and maintained a Java GUI application for data storage management. James also gained experience at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics from 2005 to 2009 as a Data Systems Software Engineer, where they worked on mission operations and built user interfaces for the AIM mission. Overall, James has a strong background in software development, team collaboration, and working on complex projects.

James Everton obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Boulder from 2003 to 2007. James then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the same university from 2007 to 2009.
